DESCRIPTION: This is one of the easier Tillandsia to care for. Capitata can grow to be up to a foot in size at their largest, but our current crop is between 3"-4", which is the size pictured. This is a great species to add to your collection.
NOTE: This plant is naturally brown/darker colored as the base and has a soft feel to it. This is often mistaken for rot, but it is rarely rot, and instead just the way the plant looks. If you are concerned about rot, look in the top central crown area of the plant as that is where rot will begin manifesting itself first in this species.
