DESCRIPTION: This form of tenuifolia gets a purple hue when kept in good light. It grows more "open" in shape than the "Stacked Form" that we also sell. It gets the name "Purple Fan" from its purple blushing center that flows into a deep green coloration. This is not a large growing air plant; these top out at just a handful of inches at their largest so they are an ideal air plant for a smaller display. During winter or in times where we have less sunlight in our area they may be more green in color, but rest assured once you give it good light it will put on a show for you. 

NOTE: There may be some hard water spots on the leaves but these can be cleaned off by gently brushing the leaves.
