DESCRIPTION: Tillandsia Intermedia is a curious species that grows differently than most other air plants. In nature, Intermedia actually grows upside down, although you can grow it any direction in which you please. Another interesting aspect of Intermedia is the fact that it forms its offsets from the parent plant's bloom spike (inflorescence). This is a beautiful sight to see once a few pups have produced off of a mother plant.
