Im a bit disappointed with the variegated ionantha; I dont see it, but I hope it will develop. Nice plant, though.

I feel like I don’t need to say anything if you look at the picture I attached of the ionatha variegata I received. The variegation is killer & it is in blush to boot. Healthy, happy, easygoing Ionatha-who could ask for more!

This thing's huge for what I'm used to from ionanthas, I love the thick leaves. The bright pink coloration does have an effect where it catches your eye and makes the variegation seem more subtle, but the one I got definitely has a lot of pale variegated stripes in it. Impressed with the big pup on it too. My shipment arrived several days earlier than estimated and both plants I ordered (this and a tectorum clump) look great!

I was very anxious until it arrived in Japan, but the wonderful Ionantha variegata arrived. I would like to take good care of it from now on.
Like the pictures in APH, it is variegated but because the plant I received started to change colors with specs of red-orange (which is also lovely), the variegation of green and white is not as pronounced. Surprisingly the plant I received is large and thick like a ionantha grenade form. I thought usually variegated plants grow more slowly because it's missing the extra green chlorophyll for energy, but I guess apparently not since it can grow this large.

I have to wait til it grows out to give a good review. So far its ok. Sorry. I think its dead now. I have alot of air plants I know how to care for them. This looks dry and dead.

I was not very impressed with this product. The variegated plant did not seem any where near the photo displayed. I could barely pick out the lighter color at all. I think this was a disaster to their reputation.
