DESCRIPTION: This is a first release in the USA. Surprisingly rare hybrid considering how common the two parents are. Limited supply. T. scaposa and kolbii are frequently used interchangeably in the Tillandsia trade, but recently they have been taxonomically differentiated. This hybrid is made from ionantha rubra x scaposa.
These turn a beautiful red color before coming into the bloom. It is quite the sight to see! Right now we only have green available, but they will turn red before bloom time.
