DESCRIPTION: Xerographica are known as the "Queen of Air Plants" for good reason! They are the quintessential air plant due to their beautiful recurving leaf structure and amazing bloom spikes. This is one of the easiest air plants to care for as well! They can tolerate bright light and go longer periods without water than most other plants.
Xerographica can be found naturally in El Salvador, Guatemala, and some parts of southern Mexico. They come from arid, desert environments and often go half a year + with zero rainfall. Most of the moisture that Xerographica take in comes from morning dew. Due to these extreme conditions, Xerographica are slower growing and can live many many years.
Note: Although they are tough plants, make sure that water does not get stuck in the center part of the plant after watering (it can cause rot). If possible, always turn Xerographica upside for a few hours while they dry, then you may return them to their display.
SIZE: There is a lot of variation in the way that the leaves grow on this species, therefore we do not list specific sizing for this plant. Reference the variant image photo for each size to get an idea of what that size looks like in comparison to an adult hand. If you look through the review photos, you will see that people are pleased with the sizes that they receive.
All orders include a free, beautiful air plant care card. Giving an air plant with one of these cards makes a great gift.
