Stricta 'Rio Negro'

DESCRIPTION: Tillandsia stricta is a species of air plant, also known as a bromeliad, that is native to Central and South America. The Rio Negro variety is known for its medium growth habit and symmetrical growing shape, growing up to 10 inches in height, and has narrow leaves that are fine and pointed. The plant produces a tall, pink inflorescence that can reach up to 4 inches in length, with small, purple flowers that bloom in succession along the stem. Tillandsia stricta is a popular plant for terrariums, as it requires very little care and can thrive in a variety of lighting conditions.
