This is the ideal Tillandsia for terrarium owners. Somnians exhibits one of the most striking green/purple colorations of any subgenus Tillandsia. It is very similar in form to a Neoregelia, but with less of a red color and more of a purple look. Somnians grow new plants directly off of their inflorescence. This is known as stoloniferous reproduction and is only seen in a handful of Tillandsia.
Our current crop has mediums and larges, ranging from 8" to over a foot.
